Sensei Chad Rusk - Technique Photos |
|
TECHNIQUE 1: Peruvian Necktie - This is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu counter technique for someone that is trying for a single leg takedown, it also works just as well for a double leg takedown. Just a few key points: Sensei Rusk is defending Sensei Wesner as he tries to take out Sensei Rusk's right leg. Sensei Rusk sprawls back and under hooks Sensei Wesner's right arm with his left arm. Maintain this under hook as the technique is completed!!!

TECHNIQUE 2: Punch Takedown Defense - As Sensei Rusk blocks and goes for the grip in photo #2, he places his hip on Sensei Wesner and throws him down. Maintaining control on the ground, Sensei Rusk finishes the series with a choke.
